Join Ben Woodhams and Car 39 as they attempt to visit all 13 guard posts in under 10 hours in the 2006 Rhino Charge, billed to be the toughest off road event in the world. This year's event proves to be the toughest of them all, with only three cars of 58 entries successfully completing the course. The event was held in the Matthews Range in northern Kenya - the home of the Samburu tribe of warriors who have adapted over centuries to live in this arid mountainous terrain of desert, thorns, rocks, and sand. The now world famous annual Rhino Charge is an environmental charity motorsport event formed to raise money to fence and protect the Aberdare rain forest, and this DVD also gives an insight into the people and animals who are benefiting from the world's longest electrified game fence that now all but surrounds the Aberdares. |
